About me
Allison Riddle taught for 27 wonderful years in the elementary classroom and has spent the past 8 years as the Elementary Induction Coordinator for Davis School District. In this role, she oversees the mentoring and professional development of 300 novice teachers. Additionally, she serves as the Teacher Academy Schools Coordinator, leading mentor teachers who host university practicum students. She manages university partnerships, coordinating on-site courses, targeted observations, and practicum placements. Allison also co-created Utah's first district Teacher Leader Fellowship. As Utah’s 2014 Teacher of the Year, she often engages with policymakers and education leaders, driven by her passion for supporting new teachers to encourage longevity in the profession.
